![]() ![]() Watch lists are found on under the "News & Research" tab and are also available in Active Trader Pro (ATP) under "Quotes and Watchlist." You can also create and view watchlists through the Fidelity mobile app by tapping "Invest" and selecting "Watch Lists" at the top of the page. Once a list is created, customers can edit quantities and prices to simulate a position. With that said, our Watch List feature allows customers to create custom lists of securities. I'll share your feedback on adding this feature to the development team. I don't have the luxury of spending 20 mins a day trying to resolve a Fidelity/ATP problem.Hey, u/Whitestarline1912! It's great to hear about your interest in trading, and at such a young age to boot! I see it's your first time posting here as well welcome!Ĭurrently, paper trading is not an available feature offered on our platforms. Spent 20 mins on hold to get my account unblocked so that I could then go online to reset my password. Tried chatting with a representative online and was told I had to call customer service. Today, exactly the same thing happens (login to Fidelity website with no problems, copy password to ATP and get locked out) EXCEPT this time I'm really locked out of my account (presumably because this is the second day in a row that it's happened) and I can't reset my password online. Annoying, a hassle and an inconvenience but i move on with my day. I try again (second attempt) and I'm locked out of ATP and I need to reset my password online. Went to login to ATP, copied the password from the password manager (same password, same password manager) and I get a message saying I've entered an incorrect password. Yesterday, logged into the Fidelity website with no problems using a password manager. I found this subreddit searching for Fidelity alternatives while on hold (see below) trying to get my issue fixed this morning. In fact it sucks so badly that it has me investigating alternative brokerages in spite of being with Fidelity for 20+ years. To anyone reading: keep complaining to fidelity about their horrible atp platform until they one day can give us a timeline on when it will be updated. obviously this depends on what type of trader you are as tradingview has its own disadvantages like any others. therefore, you really don't need to use tradestation's desktop platform and can just trade out of tradingview instead. i don't like their platform that much BUT the number one reason why i think many people have an account with them is due to how it is the #1 broker that integrates with tradingview. td ameritrade has their award winning thinkorswim platform that I'm starting to really like. however, fidelity is sadly NOT one of the brokers that can integrate with tradingview. for example, tradingview is well known for their awesome charting capabilities and speed. nowadays, depending on how people trade, many actually use two and even more platforms. To OP: you are literally better off with any other trading platform than atp from fidelity. ![]() i say that with confidence because across all my time searching, everyone seems to only mention a select few and fidelity is never in those list. i feel like you folks are losing out on so many new potential customers due to how literally no one mentions fidelity as their top choice when it comes to trading platforms. i feel like i don't even need to repeat all the bad things about the platform because I'm sure you folks already know what they are due to the numerous complaints but are just adamant on not fixing it or even providing a timeline. U/FidelityJenny we are past halfway of 2022 and active trader pro still is the most horrible piece of trading platform I've ever used. ![]()
